Asymmetric risk: top 7 ideas, week of Oct 26–30, 2026
Sixhundred does not trade these. Each idea can lose 100% of what you put in.
Long-shot setups ranked by payoff against risk. Prices are Friday close (Oct 23, 2026) reference levels only, and option prices are the midpoint of the last bid and ask. Payoffs are value at expiry; after an event, option prices usually fall, so the payoff before expiry is usually lower. Loss odds are estimates, not market data. These are ideas for discussion, not advice or recommendations.

Friday close reference levels: ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ) $66.44, implied move ±9.3% through Friday. Robinhood (HOOD) $94.90, ±10.2%. Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) $704.88, ±2.35% through Wednesday. Intel (INTC) $86.64, ±10.0%. Amazon (AMZN) $248.78, ±7.8%. Eli Lilly (LLY) $1,279, ±6.5%. Inovio (INO) $0.91, ±82%.
The setups
1. ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ). This fund moves about three times the Nasdaq 100 each day, and this week stacks the Fed, Microsoft, Alphabet and Amazon. The idea only works if the call still costs about $0.44 a share ($44 a contract) going into the Fed decision and the Nasdaq rallies roughly 4–6% by Friday. A weak market going into the Fed undercuts it. The risk can be a total loss.
2. Robinhood (HOOD). The idea only works if the option still costs about $1.00 near Tuesday's close. Most of the payoff comes right after the report. It weakens if crypto trading volumes look soft going into earnings. The risk can be a total loss.
3. Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ). The idea only works if a same-day option 1–1.5% out of the money costs $0.10–0.30 on Wednesday morning. It needs the Nasdaq to break decisively out of its morning range after the Fed speaks. The risk can be a total loss.
4. Intel (INTC). The idea only works if the call still costs about $0.80 going into Thursday's report and the stock jumps well past the roughly 10% move options price. Most of the payoff comes right after the report. The risk can be a total loss.
5. Amazon (AMZN). The idea only works if the option costs no more than about 0.3% of the stock price going into Thursday's report. Most of the payoff comes right after the report. The risk can be a total loss.
6. Eli Lilly (LLY). The idea only works if the stock moves well beyond the roughly 6.5% that options already price. Options are already expensive, so this is the weakest earnings setup. The risk can be a total loss.
7. Inovio (INO). Watch list only: the options already price about an 82% move and spreads are wide. The idea only becomes interesting if spreads tighten before the decision; a delayed review undercuts it. The risk can be a total loss.
Also on watch: Microsoft (MSFT) and Alphabet (GOOGL).
Nothing here is investment advice. Short-dated options can expire worthless.
